MBITA New Member
The Monterey Bay International Trade Association (MBITA) welcomes its new member, Richard Schneider Enterprises, Inc. (RSE). RSE is a global translation and interpretation company with 27 years of experience, working in over 170 languages for many different industries. RSE offers the personalized attention to translate product labels for local exporters, but it is also large enough that it can cover massive projects, like its recent commission to translate the trials of former regime leaders in Iraq.
HISTORY
RSE began with one man’s passion for bridging the communication gap. Richard Schneider grew up bilingual, knowing the importance—and joy—of language. His mother and father were of Hungarian and Russian heritage, respectively, and the family moved to Mexico City when Richard was only three years old. Translation agency work later prompted Richard to create his own company.
He opened Richard Schneider Enterprises, Inc. (RSE) on October 1, 1980: starting with a post office box, a beeper, and $30. Most important, Richard founded his business on a genuine desire to serve and a sincere passion for the profession. Richard was then a one-man show, serving as interpreter as well as front and back office. Clients called with a pressing need for a Spanish interpreter, and Richard would fly out of the office to fulfill the request. That was almost three decades ago. Now, Richard now credits an excellent staff for continuing his mission to provide clear communication.
